This is absolutely true, he definitely gave Kinemon this ability for this reason and I love him for it.
It’s really great how the crew changes clothes in amost every arc, even before timeskip, bc it just feels so real? And I really love how it’s enough to take a look at a panel and you know that which arc it’s from like Zoro’s striped Sabaody Shirt™ or Luffy’s map-barcelet or Robin’s amazing Enies Lobby look.
And it’s so rare in shounen like most charaters have one(1) Iconuque Look™, and I’m like uh Naruto please wash your jumpsuit already. at least Gintoki has his 20 identical yukata as a joke. I love how the charaters here are more than that. Like sure Zoro had that one white shirt and wore a lot of shirts, or Luffy prefers vests or how Robin likes to wear purple but this is just how people dress in real life too.
