honestly the most underrated Dressrosa sub”plot”, aka the Real Drama™ of the arc is Zoro not being able to participate in the tournament

these two both have their own insane chaotic energy that somehow quadruples, or more like tenfolds, AT LEAST, when they are together. Conclusion: these two are a fucking disaster
after the events of wano the straw hats receive a bunch of tickets for a nearby amusement park from the marines along with a letter asking them to please take a day off we’re literally begging you just one day that’s all we ask stop causing global upheaval for just one day-
the Kidd-Hawkins-Apoo alliance is really funny because canonically, if we are going by the newpaper date, literally the day after they decided that after doing nothing for 2 years in the New World they’d finally be big boys and go after a Yonko, Kaido just happens to miraculously fall onto them and Apoo and Hawkins take a look at him go “sure Kaido-sama we’re your followers now” and Kidd just gets his ass beat
and during this brief period of about 24 hours the Law-Luffy alliance destroyed SAD and SMILE, took Ceasar, beat Doflamingo, freed Dressrosa, got the Mera-Mera and Luffy got a Grand Fleet,
then the Strawhats allied with the samurai and the minks, found a Road Poneglyph, ruined Big Mom’s Tea Party with half the crew and Luffy got named as a Yonko after like. being in the New World for about two months? if we take the sailing into account?
like no wonder the navy’s been sweating blood Luffy did more in 2 months than the other Supernovas
